A Guide to Short, Complete, Success-Oriented Writing Tasks
Abstract:
Teachers will see and experience Writing Frames to write short complete pieces such as proverbs and axioms, one-paragraph autobiographies or essays, memory poems, and more. The trick is to make writing outcomes achievable for students of all levels. Such writing practice can form the building blocks for successful academic writing, or indeed, writing of all kinds, down the road.
Bio:
Kevin McCaughey is the Regional English Language Officer for Central Europe and the Balkans, based at the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade. Kevin has Masters’ degrees in TESOL and in Creative Writing.
