Political parties and elections in America

Taking part in different activities students became more familiar with the U.S. Government. Thanks to Fulbright Teaching Assistant Tyler Murphy students discussed about two major political parties in the U.S. They read the text and were explained key vocabulary connected to the history of political parties in America. Students also expressed their creativity through thinking about the person they would like to be their presidential candidate, writing political slogans and thinking about political platforms of their candidates. Through very interesting short video they found out about three branches of the U.S. Government: judicial, legislative and executive and their responsibilities.
