Access students took part in a workshop held by Mr John Redos, a Fullbright scholar, and Mr Jean Pierre Villamar, a university student from the U.S. with the topic Glorification of sports in America. Both guests have been professional athletes.
Guests talked about the attitude of American people towards sports and the way in which that influences their everyday life. Since they themselves played sports professionally they shared their experience with Access students. Students compared the American attitude towards sports and athletes with the Montenegrin one.
The purpose of the activity was for students to recognize the importance of sports in American culture and to discuss the pros and cons of the American obsession with sports.
