Access students had the opportunity to play sports with the U.S. Marines. Students were highly involved in the activities. Split into three smaller groups, they played American football, Ultimate Frisbee and basketball. The marines briefly explained the rules of American football while the students explained the rules of Ultimate Frisbee.
While playing different sports with the U.S. Marines students learned about the important values of teamwork, fair play, respect for each other, about the importance of being physically active and rules of American football. Both students and Marines enjoyed playing games together, developing social and physical skills and, ultimately, having fun.
