On October 3rd Access students Podgorica had the honor to meet Mr. Jeff Adler, Public Affairs Officer from the US Embassy in Podgorica. He talked to students about the history of celebration of Columbus Day in the United States of America. He gave them his view on the topic and valuable information. Students showed a great amount of interest, and they found the topic inspirational. They learned more about the people who lived on American soil before the invasion of Europeans, Christopher Columbus and about the Native American’s Day. Our guest, Mr. Jeff Adler, presented briefly how they started with celebrating that day in America and he also introduced students with the controversies which surround that holiday.
