ELTAM’s teachers attended the Regional Access Teachers’ Conference ‘Taller in Tolerance’ held from April 14 to April 17 in Belgrade.
The three-day conference has gathered fifty Access teachers from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo and Macedonia to develop practical English lessons and projects that facilitate cross cultural understanding, promote ethnic and religious tolerance, appreciate diversity and multiculturalism, and foster empathy.
The conference organised by the Regional English Language Office for Central and Southeastern Europe, the English Language Teachers’ Association (ELTA) and the U.S. Embassy Belgrade gives the opportunity to bring together teachers from across the region to work towards the one shared goal: a multi-ethnic and tolerant society.
