Education

Access Program students had a wonderful opportunity to discuss important education-related topics with the esteemed guest Mr. Tavon Cooke, the Head of Consular Section in the U.S. Embassy Podgorica on November 16, 2019. Through engaging discussion they were able to compare Montenegrin and the U.S. educational systems. Students were surprised to hear that students in the U.S. have some mandatory subjects. They learned that students in the U.S. learn foreign languages but not in depth. They showed excellent critical thinking skills by asking questions and drawing conclusions based on the guest’s answers.
