Healthy, salty, sugary, spicy, organic, GMO or fast food? What’s your choice? What do people in the USA choose and can actually afford? Are cooking styles and popular food different from state to state?
These were just some of the topics ours students discussed with a Fulbright scholar Tyler Murphy. He briefly introduced the American food culture to them. They talked about typical American and Montenegrin food and shared favorite recipes. Students loved trying pancakes and maple syrup brought by our quest as well as chocolate chip cookies and brownies. They prepared some of the most famous Montenegrin dishes for him to try.
It was a real taste fest!
