Access Podgorica

Gorica Hill planting

On April 14, 2018 Access students and the teachers, in cooperation with “The Association of the Gorica Hill and nature lovers”, joined the action of planting and creating the Mediterranean Garden on Gorica Hill. The idea was to support the efforts of the Association and other voluntary citizens to create a garden and give example of an inspiring community work. This community work brings pleasure to the citizens of Podgorica who visit Gorica Hill for recreational reasons and to enjoy nature. This garden is located beside the walking path of Gorica Hill.

The students and the teachers prepared the soil of one part of the Garden for planting lavender and other Mediterranean saplings. The students show enthusiasm to complete the given task and contribute to the creation of the Garden. The image of the day was that this Garden became a place with the first traces of natural beauty fading in from the persistent and patient hands of several nature lovers and a place almost without debris of neglected nature.
