By taking part in the online lesson held on 13 June, 2020, Access students got a unique opportunity to discuss important world issues with Ms. Judy Rising Reinke, the U.S. Ambassador to Montenegro. Through an engaging and interactive lesson, students analyzed and compared different aspects of newspapers as a type of media, similarities and differences between newspapers in the U.S. and Montenegro and talked about the overall significance in the 21st century society. Students expressed curiosity and maturity while discussing the topic and as the U.S. Ambassador stated they showed good critical thinking skills and seemed like they care about the truth and freedom of expression and speech. Not only did they come out with proper and thought-provoking conclusions, but they showed a great desire to talk about the complexity of the topic.
