Access program students learned about Native Americans, their culture, languages, symbols and festivals, from Mr Niles Diamond, a Native American currently living in Montenegro.
Niles showed them pictures and short videos of American Indians. He also showed the students the territory where Native American tribes mostly lived. He talked about the variety of Native American languages, focusing on his own people, called the Cree.
Students asked the guest questions about the language, the traditional dances, customs and similar.
At the end students watched a Ted talk video about the traditional Indian dance and the symbol of a circle which has great importance in the culture of Native Americans.
