“Inspiring language learning and teaching in the early years” – Graz, Austria

ELTAM board member Milka Cerovic participated in two-day training on the topic “Inspiring language learning and teaching in the early years: Why it matters and what it looks like for children aged 3-12 years” in the European Center for Modern Languages in Graz, Austria on September 12-13, 2018. This was an excellent opportunity for educators from 32 countries to share knowledge, ideas and resources in this area.

The training included presentation of the project “Inspiring language learning and teaching in the early years” emphasizing advantages and challenges of learning and teaching foreign language in the early years, presentation and discussion about guiding principles of learning and teaching in the early years, examples of techniques and resources that can be used, presenting, sharing and discussing projects, materials, initiatives, etc. in participants’ contexts.
