Education

This session started off with the guest Ms. Marie Leighton McCall, Public Affairs U.S. Intern. Students had the opportunity to find out more about the American education system from students’ points of view and compare it to Montenegrin. Thanks to Ms. McCall’s presentation they learned about High School and Higher Education. The part which attracted students’ attention was Identity in Higher Education, which encourages students to discover their skills, abilities and interests. Further research was done on the topics of Students’ attitude towards education, Choice of classes and Career guidance and Counseling programs. They presented their findings through Problem trees and proved to have taken into consideration more than was expected, long and short-term consequences of all the topics. The session was wrapped up with the conclusion that every education system has to adapt and upgrade with time due to the changes in society.
