On December 1, 2020 students were privileged to welcome Mr. Lewis Gitter, Head of Political Section at the U.S. Embassy Podgorica and discuss one of the most important issues of today – Life Values and Human Rights. After brainstorming ideas about the meaning of Human Rights, students had a chance to analyze the most important segments with the guest and hear all relevant information about the concept of human rights.
The students were introduced to the brochure “Passport of your rights”. They did some research about the basic rights including the aspects of survival, protection, development, identity, private life, family, freedoms, the State and international organizations, giving examples from their own country for these areas and thinking about how these human rights are applied in their own life.
