On December 13, 2020 Access students discussed the important issues of poverty and social exclusion with Ms. Sadaf Khaan, Consul at the U.S. Embassy Podgorica, and Ms. Jelena Vojnic from Public Affairs Office at the U.S. Embassy Podgorica.
Through an engaging and interactive lesson, students got familiar with the terms trust, fair share, discrimination, and action. It was interesting how well and maturely they brainstormed proposed possible solutions towards fighting poverty and social exclusion.
The overall interaction and communication between Access students and the guests, Ms. Khan and Ms. Vojnic was very enjoyable and highly productive. Despite discussing such a complex and important topic, students showed great interest while talking about social problems and while analyzing its importance on the world level.
