Traveling

With the topic ‘Traveling’ students were on a journey to far and away places accompanied by Mr. Michael Murphey, Consular Officer at the U.S. Embassy, Podgorica. The discussion started with questions where they would go and why, why a travel makes them better persons, challenges one might encounter when traveling and they lead them to inevitable issues when going on a journey like preparation phase, budget, time length, means of transport, cultural shock and many other things. Actually, students made a ‘Dream travel plan’ on a road trip, sea trip and caravan trip with the help of the guest who shared useful things related to challenges and pros and cons of travelling as well. In addition, it was good to take into consideration the fact that the guest had already visited sixty three countries and had a great experience which made the discussion livelier. Although students enjoyed the journey to Galapagos, Greece and France while working on a ‘Dream travel plan’, they came across many problems they tried to find solutions for, with the help of our guest. Giving his final thoughts, Mr. Murphey said that traveling would be more adventurous in the future encouraging students to travel and sending a message that you will be able to solve all the challenges and problems relating to traveling if you are creative and flexible enough. Then – You can work it out!
The session was ended up with students’ opinions on different aspects and statements related to the topic created in Wordwall.
