Board games and reflection

Access students had a great pleasure to host Mr. Kevin McCaughey from Regional English Language Office at the U.S. Embassy Belgrade and spend precious time with him full of enthusiasm, engagement, support, fun and much more…As the guest has followed activities of Access community in Cetinje right from the start, this opportunity was used to reflect on students’ Access journey, to exchange impressions, experience and all the things they have been through. Thus, they discussed all aspects of this program regarding developing communication and life skills, meeting American culture, interaction with native speakers, volunteering activities and, last but not least, experience during online classes during pandemic expansion. There were a lot of impressions to be heard, a lot of nice feelings our students expressed as well and within all – there was a lot of fun with new competitive games our guest wanted to share with students instead of playing board games. They were very engaged working in groups and experiencing a new game – making sentences by using words written on pebbles, competing against each other all the time, practicing vocabulary, grammatical patterns and interaction skills in a learner-centered and amusing environment which everybody enjoyed.
