Access students had an amazing afternoon doing sports with the U.S. marine officers. After learning the fundamentals of the games which they soaked up, students were engaged in American sports for the first time. Thus, they had a chance to participate in a sport frequently played in America like American football. Interacting with the U.S. marine officers, students were taught values sports can provide. They did their best to teach students the most important things like recognizing the role of sport and physical activities as crucial things in fostering team spirit, molding their character, staying fit and healthy. Through these activities marine officers drew their attention to values like developing strategic and analytical thinking, leadership skills, risk taking. All of the participants had a lot of joy and enjoyed good atmosphere as a rewarding thing not only for them but for the spectators as well. Thanks to engagement of the U.S. marine officers, students didn’t mind winning or losing the game because they had a lot of fun, regardless of their skill.
